The solo project of mortum is a mystery. It has been around us for so many years now while not much has been heard from this project. Exabyss Records is here to release actually the complete discography of Human Vault on CDr hard copy series. The dark electro spasms and powerful dance-floor kicks and slams are not getting much focus as we already got used to it while listening to earlier albums of the project. This brand new Album just dropped that line and left everything behind which was once so part of the Human Vault's raw and sturdy simplicity. Beginning off with a darker twist on club oriented music, still with slight, disturbed whispers and noises, the entire concept here provides a pretty odd dark electro scheme chasing every "dance rave thirsty cyber vampire party face" human off the dance floors. The vocals are dual layered; one set comes off somewhat normal, while the underlying backing vocals are that of a tortured soul, screeching and destroying all visions cradled in our mind. At some points the album is focusing on darker elements of the spectrum. Initial growling vocals and noise sounds are a testimony to that and these songs do not change pace as much as we would expect from a regular dark-electro release. Long story short, to present proper frenzy, more electronics soon joined the chaos. The first disc brings the reign of the hatred and inflicted soul breakdowns. No mercy on ones who search for media main stream dark electro acts.... this album kicks ass but in a modest way..... sneaking behind you... peeling off your protective mind created skins in order to stab his all culminating anger straight through your heart..... The second disc without vocals was solely created for the souls tortured by the first CD.... just simply describing it ... Rest In Peace !
