When you add work ethic and determination to a nice dose of talent, it is amazing what can happen. This is the formula for Jensen Beach born music artist Justin Buzzi, who is set to release his album “What Does it Take” to iTunes on Marsh 21st. Many months ago, I wrote a piece about Justin’s attempt to live his childhood dream. While he hasn’t made it to the big-time yet, he is making a compelling case for himself as an up-and-coming hip-hop and rap artist. Justin’s album includes a collaboration of professional produced beats by The Beat Bully, SdotFire and J Rum, while Bill Whitt mixed and mastered the tracks. “Rocky Balboa,” a song on this album, was listened to by Gorilla Zoe – an artist who has seen an abundance of success. Justin and Gorilla Zoe have stayed in contact as of late. Recently, Justin has found his niche as an artist that focuses on lyrical flow and intelligent rhymes. While his album does showcase his abilities in this area, he pushed himself out of his element in order to create a diverse mix of tracks. After listening to the album, there is no doubt that Justin will continue to grow as an artist in the music industry. As music keeps evolving, so does Justin. He has the ability to turn his feelings and life experiences into lyric, verse and song – giving the ability for his songs to hold an immense amount of substance. Through growing success, Justin has managed to keep himself modest and humble. He has balanced his time as an athlete, student and aspiring music artist while keeping his values of family and friendship very close to him. People around Justin are starting to take notice of his talent, and he is certainly not letting it go to waste.
