The Kyle & Karl Band is a family band - making the beginning hard to pinpoint. Yet, if we must, the roots of our live shows can probably be traced to The Pub in Fairhope sometime around the summer of 2006. After continuous evolving and support from our friends and community, we have become a vocal-harmony driven band with guitar and djembe at the core. In early 2011 The Kyle & Karl Band performed on 92.1 WZEW's Second Tuesday Concert Series - following, we released a live album of the show in May 2011. Both 92.1 WZEW and Sunny 105.7 are currently playing our single, "One Young Lion." August (2011) marks our first trip into the studio as The Kyle & Karl Band. The full-length album was released May 2012. We are currently finishing up our Live at La Cocina album that features Anthony Crawford and Chris Spies. Stay tuned! Harmony, rhythm, positive energy and community give us the inspiration to create and share.
