Smooth soulful house track featuring Russell Patterson from the internationally known soul group Black Ivory. Russell had penned the club hit Mainline which was a disco hit for the group Black Ivory, consisting of himself, Stuart Bascomb and boogie king Leroy Burgess. Get Down has a sweet vocal harmony arrangement that only a master vocalist could create, and that magic belongs to Leroy Burgess. The track is nicely crafted with hints of the Orient and some African tribal rhythms, and a moving counter part string arrangement that skillfully mixes with the vocals.
