A Joint Effort was formed in 2002 by Garrett McCart, Terry McCart, and Von Kopfman and recorded their debut album "Fragrant" that same year. " American Quicksand" followed in 2009. Having almost 100 year of combined musical experience and a wide pallet of tastes, they write eclectic , catchy, hook driven songs, that are at once familiar, and completely original. A Joint Efforts newest offering "Borrowed Time" was recorded in late 2015 and is an exciting ride from the opening bombastic rocker "I Do" to the beautiful and touching closer "The Ride" In between The reggae tinges "First Time" harkens back to child hood memories as seen through the eyes of children, and the Jazz/Funk love fest "Everyday" will get your blood pumping. The tracks "Borrowed Time" and "Vulnerable" mark A Joint Efforts first dip into the techno waters. "Couldn't Talk" is a tribute to Dr. Beck Weathers who was left for dead on Mt. Everest and "Give Me Your Hand" is a ode to all the homeless veterans. "Borrowed Time" really offers a little something for everyone!
