From Jerry Unger and Nora Wolff: When you have played music for as long as we have, you come to find that some of the bedrock songs, artists, and styles, come from The South. Memphis, Tennessee, Macon, Georgia, Muscle Shoals, Alabama.... These are small southern towns that have contributed to American music in a huge way. We have been blessed to have recorded 3 previous albums at Sun Studio in Memphis, Tennessee, and played at a couple of the Honky Tonks on Beale Street. We also did some shows on Broadway in Nashville. All of these experiences in the South have had a big influence on the making of this album. The album was recorded over the period from 2013 to 2016. The logistics were interesting to say the least. We had quite a few musicians who contributed to this album. Below is a list of the songs and the musicians who played on them. One final note.
