Each song from this project is a unique entity - mixing a funky blend of R&B, jazz, and soul. And even though each song breaks industry standards and sets new trends, you'll find radio-ready cuts in "Seeing You Again," "Every Little Thing" and "Magic." But that doesn't mean you won't be bobbing your head and wanting to sing along to "Suddenly," "Got It Bad For You" and especially "Insatiable." With an obvious strength in ballads, ~Destiny has been singing and performing for more than 18 years. She began singing classical at the age of 15, and performing musical comedy and jazz standards throughout High School. And her backgrounds in dance & choreography were evident in current Old School & Rock performances throughout Northern & Southern California. Now she's adding more skills to her list of abilities through the writing of her 1st solo-project: "This is... Destiny". The album, which was produced by Earl DaWayne for Earl DaWayne Publishing, was also co-produced and partially co-arranged by Destiny. Earl DaWayne is an accomplished writer, guitarist & keyboardist also is a former member of the acoustic R&B group IIIrd Degree. Currently he and destiny are members of the band "Convertables" which records and performs for movie Soundtracks. Convertables' most recent project is the movie "Detectives Affair" based on the novel by Darryl James Mosely. The intent for this project was to create a quality, radio-ready, professional CD that all could enjoy. Check and see for yourself if that goal has been accomplished.
