Much like a Terry Gilliam movie the album moves backwards and forwards in time...Cool Beach Woman is set in 1962, Bombay Magic sounds like it could have been on Sgt Pepper in 67, Wandering Man is like a lost song from Johnny Cash or The Kinks Village preservation society. THe album closes with six songs strung together with sound effects big production and crossfades ala Abbey Road, Finally in the Epilogue we learn what happens to Bargofaxis! This album will evoke memories of the Beatles, Kinks Dylan maybe the Byrds and Peter Gabriel. This may be Jeff's finest work. Also of note, the original surviving members of the original Jeff Cameron band from the eighties perform on the album, making it a reunion too! Jeff waited fifteen years to make another album. It was worth the wait
