Since I was a little girl, one of my favorite things to do has been to sing with family and friends. It started as a few of my girlfriends and I singing with our guitars. 0ver time, as I grew more confident playing the piano, we would gather and sing around that. I began writing songs at a fairly young age, and some of them we even began to sing in our church. Years have passed and I've been very blessed with experiences, friendships and more songs. It has been my desire to have some of these songs recorded so that I can share them with others. This long-awaited album contains some of the songs that we sing in our fellowship, some that were written for friends and some for special occasions.

In Isaiah 24, the prophet tells of dark and terrible times to come. Tucked away in this chapter is a small passage that speaks of a people who, in the midst of all the devastation, "shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea. Wherefore, glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea." (Is. 24:14-15)

I have come to see that the only way is through the fire. And if, in the very center of that burning place, I will lift my voice in praise to God, He will show Himself to me - the Fourth Man in the fiery furnace.

Many of you are facing flames right now. It is my sincere hope that as you listen to this album, you will be encouraged and strengthened in the faith.
