Vaaleh was born in a music loving family in Tehran, Iran. Since she was a child, she showed interest in music, specially singing. In 1989 she migrated to United States. In 1995 she participated in a Music Competition of new talents, in an album called Nevag, released by X Dot 25 Music Productions, winning the first place by public vote. Her believe and love for God, and passion for singing combined with singing God's Praises, Zikr, Commemoration and Spiritual Songs in social and spiritual gatherings, through out the passing years. She has been taking music classes in both western and eastern (specially Farsi). In recent years she started learning the traditional Persian Dastgahs. Working with talented young and experienced musicians, composers, arrangers and producers including; Henrik Nagy, Reza Abaee, Aldoush Alpanian (with years of experience in music as a musician, song writer, arranger and producer), Farid Tafsiri (as an assistant producer), and having the privilege of singing the powerful and beautiful translations of Quran both in Farsi and English, and Hafez's poetry, brought to life Vaaleh's first album: "ASCENT". ASCENT creates a new dimension in spirituality, coupled with contemporary fusion music of the east and the west.
