Gianni Marinucci likes to put his trumpet in a wide variety of settings. He has had a wide and varied career. Highlights have been touring Hong Kong, Thailand and Europe. He has played with many seminal jazz figures such as Don Burrows and Tony Gould. He has performed at most major festivals as a headline act, including the Wangaratta jazz festival and the Melbourne Jazz festival. He is a member of many ensembles beside his own quartet, including the Moovin and Groovin Orchestra and the Melbourne Jazz Orchestra. He is a Yamaha Australia artist.
