Pull up a chair and have a cup. Welcome to the kitchen. It’s been a number of years since my last CD. I wasn’t sure when or if I’d do another record. Luckily, JoAnn my wife of 28 years said it was time to do another album or get a job. She should have been a motivational speaker.

Not wanting to go to Nashville or Texas to record, I decided to buy some recording equipment on Ebay and record at home. Talk about casual. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable project of my career. Of course, without the key players, JoAnn, Dave, Joel, Bill, Kenny and my sons Willy and Cody, this would have never happened. Thanks so much to each of you.

The songs are all pretty new, all but one were written and recorded (by solar power), around our kitchen table or in the dancehall. Most take on a fold element and some topics will tend to cross the line. Ah, the beauty of the poetic license. The idea was to try and capture that feeling you get when you’re sitting around the kitchen table, surrounded by good food, friends, family, conversation and music. Thanks for the years of support and friendship. I hope there’s a kitchen in your soul.
