This is a very rare album of full-original songs by instrumental. We will find a new world of pictorial melody and a rich expression played by erhu. This is the long-expected CD of Jun Kotani who is the erhu player. Although "Erhu" is a traditional Chinese instrumental, he arranges much cusual and modern. We can see the his unique sense for each song, and the melody is wonderful anyhow. As well as the preformance, he composes and arranges by himself. These works demonstrate the possibility and new view of erhu. We may look pictures in each song, and various scenes which change for every songs are full of rich feeling. After we finish listening his DC with these impressive melody and a free expression, we feel as if enjoyed a whole movie It is the first album, and we expect what kind of approach he will do for the next.
