Sarah Hurst is a singer/songwriter in Austin, Texas. Originally from Houston, she graduated from Dallas Baptist University where she recorded her first full length album, Fine to Wait, which she released May 2013. Sarah has performed at venues like the House of Blues, Gilley's, as well as at SXSW in 2013. She was featured on Dallas' "D: The Broadcast" to play her song "The Valiant" live on television. With tips of the hat to Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Paul McCartney, and Brian Wilson, Sarah has carved out her own unique and particular musical style. In a review of her album Fine to Wait, one critic described her as "something of a find...tingling with energy and a voice that provides the heart and soul of the record. Her new record, "Safety Risk," will release in early 2015.
