More than twenty years ago, we, Frauke Ross, Martin Kogel, Bernhard Nusser and Jorg Petersen, founded the POLYPHONIA ENSEMBLE BERLIN. Fortunately, numerous other musicians have joined us in the following years, so that the ensemble can now perform works for almost all instrumentations, from wind trio to mixed decet. Over the years, we have been able to expand our horizons with countless original compositions and also arrangements, which we prefer to perform in unusual places, such as on a raft, in a cave, in a jazz club, in your living room, on a cruise ship, or wherever - the idea for this CD was also born on the high seas. Here, with the generous support of Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg, we present the most precious musical gems of our concert programmes on a single digital CD: Music from 300 years and the work of 20 years in just 55 minutes!
