Small Eyez is the Founder and CEO of Mind Musik Records as well as the labels first major artist. Music is something that has coarsed through his bloodstream ever since he was a youth. Born in Cincinnati,OH Emman Twe always had a passion for music. He was inspired early on in his life by much of the Roots, Reggae music his Rastafarian Father saturated the family with. Emman was told at an early age that he would never be capable of playing a musical instrument due to his birth complications that left him with only the use of one arm. Rather than dwell on the restraints and limitations put on him by others Emman found other ways to channel his creative energy. At age 12, Emman began freestyling and writing as an outlet and form of creativity. This soon became more than a pastime and at age 14, Emman created his first 8 track cd demo. At 16, Emman took on the name of Small Eyez and began recording and performing at local events around his city of Dayton. Now 20 Small Eyez has performed with the likes of such Hip Hop Legends as Talib Kweli, and Dead Prez as well as new Artists like Young Jeezy, Juelz Santana. Small Eyez wears many hats handling the labels website design and beat production, for Mind Musik Artists.This year will defintely be the Year of The Mind.
