Mello originally began and still performs as a solo steel drum artist/one man band, who can perform instrumentally as your ambiance. In addition, he can add vocals to the performance for your "Caribbean Party Crowd". Over the past few years he has acquired two (2) very talented musicians that complete the Caribbean duo/trio cover band, whose instruments are guitar and/or percussion. The most recent accomplishment for Mello Vibes being the second place prize in the 2006 Tampa Bay Idol Talent Competition; taking his instrument on a voyage, serenading the listeners with its unique sound. I had a destination wedding from Indiana to Dunedin, Florida. The only chance I had to listen to Mello's music was over the internet. I only spoke to him 2 times over the phone before the wedding. All my nerves were gone as soon as I saw him on the beach ready to perform before the ceremony. He did an amazing job! He also performed during the reception on the beach at Honeymoon Island.
