Tavis Minner is a singer, songwriter and music educator. A graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Music Education and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Southern Nazarene University, Tavis has performed as a featured soloist for the Oklahoma Hall of Fame Awards, the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, the Tulsa Opera and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. As the music teacher, he’s been the recipient of the “Teacher Award for Excellence,” “Teachers Touching Tomorrow Award,” and the “2004 Teacher of the Year for Tulsa Public Schools.” Tavis continues his advocacy for the music arts by being the Children's Choir Director for All Souls Unitarian Church in Tulsa.
