Jarvis is a powerful player ("Life With Thilo" shows what Jarvis can do when unleashed), but he is not able to fully overcome the forgettable melodies and clichéd frameworks. This was a set designed for potential radio airplay, and despite Jarvis' best efforts, the results are not worth listening to too closely. Nothing unexpected occurs and the sound of surprise is completely missing. All of the musicians are capable of much better.
