简介
Jackson Price lets you relive the best summer you ever had over and over again. His music has a way of massaging your mind back into those summer moments when everything felt like a dream. Falling in love. Walking home in the warm rain. Giving up hope. And then hearing a pebble being tossed off your bedroom window. With his innately warm personality and curly shocks of hair bursting from his head, Jackson truly feels like the summer sun. His songs are plucked from quiet moments of self-reflection when you think you're the only one around. Touring since the age of 14, Jackson has spent years experimenting with all sorts of sounds before finally releasing his purest work yet in his 2010 debut solo EP. The self-titled work from the San Diego based musician immediately resonated with his long-established following. It reflects Jackson's experience and evolution with its pop/soul/country feel, echoing the sidewalks of Nashville. He captures his musical past, having shared bills with such acts as: Slightly Stoopid, Black Frames, English Beat, and Common Sense, but uses it to build his own, soulful sound that feels like a collision between Jason Mraz and James Taylor. With this album, as with 4 of his previous 8 releases, Jackson performs every instrument, provides all the vocals, and writes and arranges every song from his heart. There are no accidents in his work.
