This rewarding and successful music partnership of Bob Shaw and Dorian Medd began in the early 70's and continued until the Summer of '82. Between them, hundreds of their original songs made their way into this dynamic folk/rock duos' repertoire. Touring extensively under the direction of Dymaxion Talent Agency, the venues varied from cruise ships, concert halls, and coffee houses, to daycares, high schools, and outdoor parks. A recording contract with independent label Riser Records led to 5 successful releases. Medd & Shaw was the perfect format for adult contemporary/MOR radio and the stations ate them up. Many supporting musicians came and went over the years as Medd & Shaw's musical styles and virtuosity grew. Even after the rigors of touring and recording, Medd & Shaw continued to deliver that classic Westcoast folk/rock/pop sound that they had come to be known for.
