EISENFUNK: a hard name that comes to the point with the kind of music. Hard electronic beats melt into both industrial and noise elements as melodic lead sounds and fine harmonies. The sound is rounded by the significant voice of singer Michael Mayer founding the project in 2006. By the end of 2006 he completed his first studio album “Funkferngesteuert” which was published as a web EP at “Biohazzard Records” – a sublabel of “Danse Macabre” – after signing the contract. At the turn of the years 2006/2007 Eisenfunk expanded with Arthur Stauder (eDrums) and Toni Schulz (keyboards, samples). A few months later, in October 2007, the band published their first album of the same title. Propaganda only needs three things to take effect: an idea, humans and mass media. The one who thinks we live without it and consumes everything the media has to offer is just “funk-remote-controlled” too.
