This was the second release from Schizophonic Records, a Salem Oregon based label owned by Vaughn Berger and Mike Jones. Many of the tracks were recorded at their studio in Salem on a Ampex 1/2" 4-track tape machine. The compilation represents a wide array of artists and music in the Portland Oregon scene in the very early 90's, 'before punk broke', so to speak, and captures that era in all it's humble glory. Released only on 12" LP, this marks the first time this record has been available digitally. Converted to digital format by Steve Turnidge at ARS-Divina Studios in Seattle WA.
