The Heebie Jeebies are a high spirited folk music duo from Lawrence, Kansas. Our trademark sound is male/female country harmonies such as Gram and Emmylou, George and Tammy and Johnny and June. On our debut album we share our love of Hank, Lucinda, Gram, Dylan and a good amount of originals. Debbie plays the flute and harmonica and Rick is on guitar and we both love to sing. We have played the bars and honkytonks of Lawrence and Kansas City as well as being repeat performers at the Wakarusa Music Festival. Our CD features many special guests including Mike West and Katie Eulis of Truckstop Honeymoon who play everything from mandolin, banjo and bass to name a few, Tricia Spencer on violin from The Prairie Acre and other local talents ranging from clarinet, piano, pedal and lap steel and percussion. We are very excited to release our debut album "Westerly Direction". We had a terrific time making it. We think it shows. ENJOY!
