"not up for this" is a collection of introspective, acoustic songs recorded , lo-fi, by Stoops in his Puget Sound apartment in Seattle, WA in 2000. The album reveals a deep sense of longing and urgency that is accentuated by its raw minimalism. Since its release, Stoops moved to NYC where he completed schooling to become a nurse and is currently working as a home hospice RN in San Francisco, CA. Continually influenced by life's experiences and the world around him, Stoops is currently in the process of recording a new album, of similar disposition to "not up for this", anticipated for release in 2014.
