It was an absolute pleasure to work with my very good friend Raoul Khan who recorded and produced my work. Sharing this music has been such an amazing experience and I'm happy to be able to offer this music to even more people. The music that I've written for this album is what helped me get through the great hardships in my life. It is the raw and unfiltered embodiment of my worries, pain, joys and regrets...it is a piece of me. The only thing I want when I give my music to others is for them to hear my words and be touched by them. There is too much static on the radio today that encourages us to feel numb, this is my way of fighting that. We are human beings, we deserve to be angry and happy and filled with sorrow, and we should never shun that away. I've already gotten my reward for all the work and late nights. People have come to me with tears in their eyes, sent me brave messages describing their hardships, I have seen hearts being opened and connections being formed. This is what my music is about, and until now these experiences have been limited to the people living near me.
