Burnout is the debut single from the new Victory Pill sophomore album Digital Divide. Victory Pill is the collaborative name for Jim Davies and Pete Crossman, the former a guitarist of Pitchshifter and the latter a master of beats and synths. This sophomore album is the follow up to their self-titled debut record. 'The Digital Divide' sounds new but familiar and draws comparison to the sound of 90s mega band The Prodigy. This is explained, as Davies was part of the band during their 'Fat Of The Land' period. The Digital Divide blurs the line between electronic and live instrumentation, and as always, Davies’ imaginative and original guitar sounds and performance are absolutely outstanding. There really is nobody else on this planet doing what Jim’s doing. 
The digital divide tells of the band’s disassociation towards today’s generation and being unable to relate to or be inspired by.
