Joel's favorite genres are 60's psychedelic rock and 90's grunge; his biggest musical heroes, The Beatles and Nirvana. Of course along with these two musical giants he has devled into the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and the Doors as well as Janes Addiction, the Pixies and the White Stripes. He started playing in his native Trinidad in 1996 and has since performed in reggae band, a jazz band, a folk rock band, a metal/grunge band and also continued his acoutic grunge/psycheadelic/punk solo career! While at college in MD he also picked up drumming and so of course added that to his repertoire. To date he has toured all over MD, from Bel Air to Westminister, and has even ventured out to Virginia and Pennsylvania. He is currently recording material for his up coming Ep Quiet Now.
