The release of The Great Escape arrives at a pivotal time in both hip-hop and the life of Magestik Legend. Much like many of his musical peers, Magestik felt that he needed to Escape his current environment, mind state, struggles, and economy in order to become Great. So he started writing. He enlisted 14KT [The Lab Techs] and Astronote [CLASSIC STEREO] on the beats and began to create The Great Escape. This album signifies an embrace of creative independence for Magestik, and is the natural evolution from his previous project, Free Magestik Legend.
