Lorina Harding Lorina Harding arrived in New Zealand from her native Canada in 1988, bringing with her not only an outstanding musical talent but also a wealth of experience in performance for stage, television, and film. Her first album, Lucky Damn Woman, received exceptional reviews, winning Best Folk Album at the 1992 New Zealand Music awards. Lorina’s extensive theatrical background, storytelling abilities and infectious sense of humour blend to create performances reviewers have called “...utterly captivating.” Lorina has played support for many overseas acts including Lucinda Williams (USA) Suzanne Vega (USA), Katy Moffat (USA), Guy Clark (USA), Rory McLeod (UK), Jane Siberry (Canada), and Blue Rodeo (Canada). Lorina's second album, Clean Break, won another Tui in 2005 and was Metro Magazine's pick for best performer that year. Lorina will record her new album next month before heading overseas for extended touring.
