Pop-R&B and Soul singer, LU.ME, will be releasing her follow up English single, ‘Gotta Let You Go’, on 6th August 2021. ‘Gotta Let You Go’ is a contrast to the initial story of ‘Sana’ and sung in English to showcase LU.ME’s ability to sing bilingually. Produced by AOR Global, the English lyrics were written by Singapore-based Indie Rock Singer-songwriter, kotoji, who used to be bandmates with LU.ME when they were students of Academy of Rock as teenagers, and is her god-sister. The song is a part two of LU.ME’s debut single, ‘Sana’, as it narrates the emotions of a person who is undergoing a process of moving on from their previous relationship, but is having a hard time letting go because the person hasn’t fully accepted that the it is over, despite everything they had been through.
