Southern Californian, Jill Nooren, expresses the joys, heartaches, and desires of life with a powerhouse voice that takes you to the soul of the matter. She uses her voice and songwriting to tell honest and vulnerable stories of relationships, self awareness, and life. She believes, “Music allows us to learn and grow and truly live in the moment. Every song that I have ever felt a connection to guided me in some way and every important event in my life has a soundtrack. A song can define and punctuate a moment for me. As a songwriter, I have the luxury of being able to script some moments for myself.” Jill made the decision to make music her full time “job” in 2009. She spends her time writing songs, inspirperforming with her band, and working with young singers through a vocal performance enrichment program she developed specifically for aspiring singers. Jill says, “The decision to live musically and share my love of music has allowed me to find a path of positivity and live life to the fullest!” Jill enjoys sharing her love of making music with great friends who also happen to be extremely talented musicians. Her longtime friends (and fellow musicians) are instrumental in bringing Jill's songs to life both in the studio and on the stage. Jill's latest EP release, "What Was Will Never Be" features Jojo Hahn on Piano, Synth, and Acoustic Guitar, TJ Weklak on Lead Guitar, David Stone on Bass, Nicki Carano on Drums, and Jd Boucharde on Piano and Synth.
