SolStar is a world-renowned indie band built on a foundation of sustainable art and music. Since uniting as a rhythmical family in Atlanta, Ga (2011), the quintet is quickly gaining international notoriety for its culturally diverse sound & performing artistry. SolStar Music (as is their full name) is comprised of the five creatives: lead vocalist/guitarist/fluteist - Zayani Rose, percussionist/vocalist - Makasala RE, premier dancer- SabToeZ, bass guitarist- Prince Charms, and violinist/rapper Mos Infinite. In March of 2011 the then Quartet of Zayani, Mos Infinite, Prince and Makasala hooked up with grammy nominated, multi-platinum producer MandoBeats of Launchcode Entertainment. In their first magical session, the hit track 'MillionAir' was recorded; the team would continue the blossoming relationship, which eventually yielded 5 of the 12 tracks on SolStar's debut album GOLD. MandoBeats continues to play a pivotal role in the bands development through creative nurturing and studio accompaniment. Some of the band's more recent work such as 'The Other Girl' & 'RokkStar' (engineered by technical expert Reynard Uberwood) are near-replicas of SolStar's live sound; crisp, fluid, precise and minimalist as far as studio after-effects is concerned. GOLD was recorded in four studios total & over the timespan of 1 1/2 years. Wowing crowds along the East Coast in greater than 150 live shows performed during their first 2 years as a band; GOLD comes as a soulful and much anticipated work of hight art.
