Everett Tree is a collaborative project lead by San Francisco Bay Area producer Robert M Powell. Robert is lead vocalist and plays all sorts of stringed things including guitars, pedal steel, bass etc. Marc McCartney (Achilles Wheel, Shana Morrison) plays drums and percussion. Robert's brother, sculptor Eric Powell, is co-writer of most of these songs and created the artwork that appears on the cover of the Everett Tree EP. Billy James Dean is a Grammy award winning producer/engineer now semi-retired and living deep in the woods and off the grid. Billy James journeyed from his rural home at crucial points during the recording process to lend his invaluable perspective and skills.
