John William Bauld, Teacher of Yoga – Acharya (M.Y.) travels abroad teaching classical Hatha & Bhakti yoga spreading the love that he holds in his heart for music and yoga. The debut solo album produced in California by acclaimed Grammy-nominated Ben Leinbach mixes adult contemporary music in English with sacred Sanskrit. After spending time touring around locally with rock bands in his earlier days as a musician, the vast experiences on the road influenced and seasoned him musically. The transition from an accomplished bass player and back up singer, lead to the release of his first official solo album after many demos which circulated throughout the years. John has become evermore dedicated to the yogic path, and his passion for the ancient teachings and exploration of spiritual connection is directly reflected in the music. The intention is simple: to foster community, unity, empowerment & well-being through the universal language of music and the practice of yoga.
