I have allowed myself to bring my deepest thoughts to the surface. I've spent hundreds of hours to ransack my soul and brain for answers and songwriting . I've tried to hold on to an impartial honesty, and tried to see myself in a larger perspective. We are all grown up inside a bubble, where local traditions, family, spirituality has influenced our childhood for better or worse. Through years' experience, I have found that the most drivable and correct way for me has been to attempt to break out of the bubble. A bubble is often exclusion of differing views, a narrow truth, an absolute and determined worldview and perception. This does not fit in relation to my honesty, realism, intellect and so on. I have become more humble to a bombastic attitude about what is truth. The truth for many is just inside the bubble. This certainly does not mean that everything inside the bubble is unimportant or insignificant. I still think that much of me is placed inside the bubble, but I think and feel that I have managed to break through the bubble wall, and today is more on the outside than on the inside . I feel better on the outside. I have realized that many of the realities of life, difficult questions regarding philosophy and religion, are difficult to get any definite answer to. I have to live my life between faith and doubt, hope and hopelessness, justice and injustice. My goal with my lyrics are to show some of my thoughts about life's challenges, joys, difficulties, big things and small things. Perhaps you recognize yourself in some situations ? I could never have made my thoughts and tunes complete without my good friend, producer and musician John Beland. He has done an absolutely outstanding job. In addition to possessing a complete music professionalism, he has an exquisite musical taste and insight. He brings out the absolute best of me and my songs. Thanks John, I am eternally grateful.
