I was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I started out making music when I was about ten or eleven (with pots and pans from my Mama’s kitchen). I was raised up in the church with my brother and my two sisters. My mother made sure that we were in church every time the doors was open. As I got older I started doing my own thing (going to church was just to see what I could get into). I started selling w**d to some of the youth at the church, and then I was hitting the streets, running with some head busters, and thugs. The whole time I was still making music, I started making beats for local boys, then I got into rapping I was alright with it but I needed to work on it. One late night on a Thursday, me and my boys was out on the town, we were about to steal some rims. The folks came up and we took off running about 2-3 blocks away, they caught up with us and off to jail I went. About 4 days later I was back on the streets all charges was drop. My girlfriend at the time was pregnant so I joined the army so that all of the charges against me were deleted and I could take care of my family. My girlfriend became my wife. 5 years in the US Army, stationed in New York, I got more into rapping and battling other guys around Fort Drum and down in the city. Just because I was in the army it didn’t stop me from thuggin. I got investigated by CID, and questioned by FBI, I been to Iraq for a full year. I took all the money I could get and started buying my studio equipment. Got out the army and came back to the sipp. At that time I was tired of life, I cared nothing about God, my family, or anything, but still rapping and making music. Ready to die I took a 40 s&w and put it to my head ready to pull the trigger. My life was flashing before my eyes and I thought back when I was younger, I cried out for Jesus and just like that he came in and saved me. I stopped rapping I was al about God reading and praying all the time. Then God told me to use the gift that he gave me for him. A record label had got in contact with me and wanted me to rap and produce for them. They offered $75,000, to start and $8,000 a track, I turned it down because it was not the music that God told me to do. So long story short, I do gospel hip-hop I don’t look at myself as a rapper but a preacher that knows how to rap
