BIO

Leesa Sklover, Ph.D, LPC,. a Jungian oriented therapist, spiritual coach, music therapist, certified Kundalini yoga teacher, yoga therapist, energy healer (Reiki Master)- . A Ph.D. in clinical psychology with a focus in integrative-alternative therapies, a masters in music therapy, B.S in Speech, certified in kundalini yoga and hypnotherapy.

She has created workshops and lectures to inspire for over 20 years. She worked in health and Healing at Canyon Ranch Spa for 12 years and as international consultant and teacher. She works in the Integrative Medicine program at the Planetree hospital- New Milford Hospital, in New Milford, CT. She has been written up in Vogue, New Woman, The Washington Post, Cosmo, The Discovery Channel and Nightline. Her areas of research and interest involve the power of the creative process to heal, overcoming traumatic stress, creative psychotherapy with learning disabled,

programs for abused children, ecospirituality, shamanic journeywork, imagery- sound and imagination, yoga therapy, interspecies music and psychoacoustic research with solitary whales and dolphins, and blended family health. She is composer- vocalist of healing /environmental music and her own soul rock. Her aim is to encourage, teach exuberance and resilience in the lives she touches. A private practice in Washington, New Milford, Ct. and NYC. She teaches at The Graduate Institute, and is teaching at and helping to create a global school Self Design in BC. She is research and special projects director for cetacean society international, researching psychoacoustics of dolphin and whales, helping lone and lost cetaceans in the wild.
