The band was born in Bologna (Italy) in 2009 from the cohesion of four musicians with different musical influences: a funky bassman switches to live electronics and starts performing with a J.B.'s inspired horn section; we have a funky, hard groovin' alto saxophone who comes from jazz and clarinet studies, a tenor saxophone who comes from soul singing and jazz playing too and, on trombone, we have our dixieland element, with his classical background and experience. This combination of different musical colors is probably our best quality in terms of composing, improvising and performing. The band started to perform live with an electrofunk show entirely composed of their own music and, through the years they experimented different kind of live performances. Starting with a live electronic jam band with old school funky horns, then moving toward heavier electronic sounds and now approaching to electroswing moods, their contamination never stops, searching a new eclectic way in the club culture. In Italy, they performed live in various jazz clubs (e.g. Wolf, Bologna) and disco pubs (e.g. Arterìa, Bologna), they appeared on tv shows (e.g. on Odeon TV) and they played the opening act for artists such as Loco Dice (Ambra Night, Sardegna), Jonas S, Simina Grigoriu (Biografilm Festival, Bologna), Videomind, Dub Pistols, Rezophonic. They performed with local jazz musicians like Teo Ciavarella and Lele Veronesi and played at the 25th anniversary edition of Porretta Soul Festival.
