Resopal is stoked to present the debut EP by another member of the Resopal crew, Equador based dj and producer ONKEL BRUTALO ( dont ask us about the name ) aka Pedro Herrera is the next star on Resopal. With NO releases on own and other labels since now, young Pedro Herera is a gentleman who's NOT been around for a long time in the business. We believe that his track SELVA is outstanding and deep and floating and simply a perfect A-side! Selva is a seven minute killer with a thumping and grooving bass line which is the the heart and life-giving source of this track among 10.000 animal voices, layer upon layer of rolling percussions, filled with djungle energy. Meticulously arranged by MRI for a DJ to mix with ease, the B side reworked long-play track starts with a lengthy intro that drives grippingly through quirky percussive snippets, tight drum programing, a bouncy bassline, the splattering and crunching of the jungle sounds, boingy tones and gurgling animal voices -- which all finally carries you to a gritty chord pad that coincides tremendously with a druggy sunrise on a summer day.
