Tongue Drum 2 “Tongue Drum 2” is the second of its kind to my knowledge being that it is all music based around Tongue Drums with a little Akai MPD midi controllers and Freenotes Wings mixed in to spice things up.Some of the live experimental stuff on CD two of this set is something I have been sitting on about a year now because I didn’t know what I was going to do with it. After receiving many favorable comments on my YouTube page On the" Water Drops" video I had to come up with an all out Tongue Drum CD in a different light, ( raw and real ). I thought this would be a good time to let it go, along with my solo Akai CD "Universe" and the Zen Tambour Tongue Drum CD " Shadow", incorporating both into the live shows I’m working on. The scales of the drums on this CD are A minor, C major, G major and E major pentatonic built by Steve Roberts of TongueDrum.com, my Freenote Wings are A minor and D minor also, B minor and D minor Tamboa Tongue drums by Gilles Perrault of Tamboa.com and a Milltone Tongue Drum by Larry Miller (my very first drum ) and two Zen Tambours made by Steve Finch in the Ursa minor and minor pentatonic 9 scales. The wooden Tongue Drum is a beautiful, amazingly warm, and harmonic instrument. I think my recording of these drums are a little better this time around, I’m still working to improve this, but I hope after a few songs you will hear the real potential of these exotic instruments.
