32 year old singer songwriter Dana Rogers has been performing professionally for over a decade and my how time flies! In the fall of 2003 she spent time in Sydney, Australia and it was then that she realized it was time to make a serious move, so she sold everything and moved to NYC where she spent most of 2004. While there, she achieved singer songwriter VIP status through NYSongwriters from performing Singer/Songwriter Sessions at legendary CBGB and The Bitter End in Greenwich Village. One of her favorite stories from her NY experience was when she was playing an open mic one night and an Italian playwrite walked up in tears after her set and said, "You have no idea what you just did to me and you have to do that song in my play".
