Ninth House was created in 1998 by singer/songwriter Mark Sinnis (bass & vocals) following the ten year run of his previous band, Apostates. Ninth House also features former Apostates drummer Francis Xavier on drums. Known for their distinctive sound -- a unique combination of goth rock and Americana -- the band quickly made a name for itself in the New York City club circuit. "Swim In the Silence" is the band's 2001 debut CD, which features the single "Injury Home," a Ninth House fan favorite that appeared on the TV show "ANGEL."
