In January 2016, Covering Elliott Facebook page sent out a request for fans to put their own take on Elliott's songs by submitting a cover to be considered for an album to be released as a not for profit project with a closing date for entries of June 30th . We had no idea that by the time the closing date rolled along we would have so many amazing covers to choose from ! . around 60 covers in total were submitted that had what it takes . It was a difficult decision tho we have ended up with around 20 tracks that we feel are simply amazing . 13 of them are here on our first album , Covering Elliott #1 Many of the artists may be new to you right now,some are working musicians , some are not . All are fans of Elliott .
