New York-based Sara Genn's Fender Rhodes trio is a moving meditation on longing and creative desire. She is accompanied by Keith Witty on double bass and Christopher Eddleton on drums. Her third release is the chamber-butter lovenote, Lifedrawing. Genn plays a 1973 Fender Rhodes 73 Suitcase, and the 1930's Baldwin Baby Grand which once took center stage at the Rainbow Room. She also collaborates with French electronic producer Wax Tailor, writing songs and texts, recording and touring for his releases "In the Mood For Life" (2009) and "Dusty Rainbow From The Dark" (2012). This project is certified gold in France and toured with the Orchestre Nationale de Lille in 2013. Genn has been featured in The London Papers and in FLARE, has licensed for independent films and her music has been used by Honda, RW&Co and on the NBC drama "Lipstick Jungle". Tours in Europe, including the Edinburgh Festival have brought features on independent radio in NY, the UK and Switzerland, and webcasts for the critically acclaimed Bedford in London. She’s also been included on the compilations "Dean's List" (NYU) and "Electroacoustic Club" (London). Sara Genn is also a visual artist, her paintings have been featured by Nissan Infiniti and in Tatler, New York Magazine, Town and Country, Canadian House and Home and Domino. Her work is represented by Voltz Clarke Gallery in New York City as well as other galleries across Canada and the US. LIFEDRAWING is Sara Genn's third solo album.
