简介
The Foto Sisters have been performing together for over 13 years. They continue to make appearances in many different venues across the US including churches, schools, cantatas, weddings and charity events. In 2015, they were invited to perform for the National Day of Prayer Service held at the Louisiana State Capital. During the summer of 2015, The Foto Sisters collaborated with renown bassist DaXun Zhang on the Dvorak String Quintet. In addition to their regular appearances as a trio, they have individually won concerto competitions, soloing with the Rapides Symphony Orchestra and the Louisiana Youth Orchestra (LYO). Each have held leadership positions as concertmaster, principal violist, and principle cellist in the LYO. The Foto Sisters are classically trained musicians and currently study with the LSU professors. They have received coachings from the Attacca String Quartet, The Harlem String Quartet, El Cuarteto Latinoamericano, Peter Slowik, Marilyn McDonald, Steuart Pincombe, Martha Strongin Katz, Paul Katz, and John McGrosso of the Arianna String Quartet. During the past summers, The Foto Sisters have attended prestigious music camps including Credo Summer Music Festival, The Premiere Orchestral Institute, and Festival South Orchestral and Chamber Music Academy all from which they have received coachings with internationally known classical artists. They participated in a theory/composition training camp taught by the late Bob Walters (White House arranger and founder of Washington Music Ministries), and also attended Ben Speer’s Stamps Baxter School of Music. The Foto Sisters have private studios of their own where they teach violin, viola, cello, and piano. They have participated in the Ezekiel School of Music’s Pedagogy Class and the Hulin Sisters’ Pedagogy Class. They are also certified Harmony Road Instructors.
