At age 11 and just before Christmas Jarren asked his father if he still had an old Casio Keyboard in the storage. He wanted to learn to play the Charlie Brown theme song. Jarren bugged his dad about the keyboard through the New Year and it was finally brought out of storage. Jarren got on the keys and soon learned to play that Charlie Brown song but he didn't stop. With no lessons he used his ear and those crazy long fingers to teach himself the sounds that made more of the music he loved to hear and play. Within a few months Jarren was writing and composing his own songs. Then he caught the performance bug. By age 12 he was performing his own songs in front of any audience he could find. He is a fearless performer. Like many Nashville performers Jarren started playing at open mic events and won a contest which netted him some neat recording software. Then it was off to the races. As Jarren learned more and more about recording he started laying down tracks to his songs and developed and nice catalog of songs. Jarren also discovered the joy of co-writing and eventually applied to attend Grammy Camp in Nashville where he meet other extremely talented writers, musicians and performers. Working with such talented individuals further inspired Jarren to record and release his first EP: In the Flames at the age of 15. Jarren continues to write, compose and co-write. He remains a fearless performer with a true desire to please his audience. Jarren is looking forward to sharing his music and talents with other writers, performers and audiences. Fade is the second release. It has Jarren's unique pop/rock sound and unforgettable lyrics.
