Dance Music Recording Artist 'KC' (birth name; Juan Carlos), was born in 1987. Growing up in a family of six. KC was always surrounded by dance music, primarily of the "Freestyle" genre. He started singing at the tender age of nine. He states that singing has always been a passion for him. One of his favorite songs.. "Praying for an Angel" by Freestyle artist Rochelle was the inspiration to take his dream a step further into the world of dance music. Prior to making his recording debut he worked as a model in the fashion industry. At the age of twenty, destiny introduced KC to APM Productions. Through them, KC recorded his first single entitled "Never Come Back". With this new single, KC was the young fresh face in todays world of Freestyle Dance Music. He went on to build a track record of live performances with this, the song broke top 10 on various online dance stations, most noteable the freestyle dance channel La' RadioLive.com. Through APM, he went on to record "All Night Long" and "Haunting Me". Both of which also hit the top ten of freestyle dance radio. Some time later, he teamed up with recording artist Maryling Torres and her producer DJ Merk One of DMO Muzik inc to record the song "Devious" and "Sin Tu Amor". "Sin Tu Amore" was the first song that KC recorded in spanish. The song caught the attention of known recording artist Sito (of "Pain"). Sito had approached KC with the idea of making "Sin Tu Amor" are duet collaboration between the two. The song was recorded and became an instant favorite amoungst fans of freestyle. With this came a remix that got equal play. Not to mention that this is one of the few "Spanish Speaking" freestyle songs to come out in years. Most recently, KC inked a deal with Boston record label "Funusual Records" for a album release with an international distribution deal. The release "El Amor" includes the singles "All Night Long" and "Never Look Back".
