Mistah D.R.E.D., who\'s name stands for the \"Direct result of Educated Domination\" is truly a person who has lived a life of blood, sweat, and , tears. Hailing from the North Side of Houston, Tx. he has been exposed to the gang-life, has been exposed to the world of drug dealing, and has witnessed the death of several of his close friends and family. Although he has gone through all of this, Mistah D.R.E.D. rose to the occasion and overcame them by focusing on more postitve things rather than letting the \"street life \" consume him. Mistah D.R.E.D. has been involved in the world of hip hop since the age of 13 and recorded his first ever tape \"The Powersource\", when he was 16 years of age. However, he really never pursued a record deal because it was more of an outlet and he really wasn\'t ready to live that life. Instead of seeking a deal in music, Mistah D.R.E.D. decided to join the military in hopes of changing his life around for the better. Even though he was in the military and traveling around the world, Mistah D.R.E.D. found it difficult to escape being involved in the music world and thus continued to record music and perofrm at various places around the world such as Japan, Hawaii, and Australia.
