Julia McConahay has been playing violin since age 5. She has participated in challenging orchestral and vocal ensembles ever since. Throughout her college career at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, she was invited to play with several bands spanning genres including blues, funk, hip hop, celtic rock, ska, afro-cuban, swing, hard rock, folk, acoustic rock, and indie rock. In addition to providing a dynamic string presence in the studio, Julia McConahay is also available for hire as a new-band performance coach and in-studio production advisor.
